KENYA : Thunder remain unbeaten after win over Blazers

Thunder basketball team continued their dominance of the KBF Premier League after they beat Blazers 56-37 on Sunday afternoon at the Nyayo Gymnasium.
Thunder has so far managed to upset the Defending Champions of the KBF Premier League Co-op Bank when they beat them 72-63 in their season opener, defeated the runners up of the 2012 season USIU Tigers 71-60 while Blazers were their latest victims. The win sees the Shauri Moyo based team with 6 points from the 3 wins.
In the match Thunder won all the quarters with the 1st quarter ending 13-8, the 2nd quarter 15-6, 3rd 10-6 and the last quarter 18-17. Thunder captain Griffin Ligare who has been instrumental for the side had 10 points while Nelson Njau sunk in 17 points the highest in the match. Jay Michoma gave Blazers 7 points to lose their second consecutive match after they were beaten by debutants Nairobi Aviation College last weekend.
