UGANDA : Lugudde’s Team LK4 go for first FNL win

Team LK4 returns to the fray in the ongoing Castle-Lite Friday Night Lights with a sole goal of registering their first win since the team’s establishment last season.
Led by the affable Isaac Lugudde, LK4 have been an attraction puller every time they are scheduled to play mainly due to its celebrity-studied lineup.
Heading into tomorrow’s game at YMCA-Wandegeya, Lugudde promises another celebrity-filled lineup featuring comedian Salvado Indringi and HB Toxic’s Hellen Lukoma among others. But he is also determined to ensure the team chalks up its first win. “I look at FNL as a great way to market the game of basketball. This is why I field celebrities on my team. This time round, I intend to continue fielding the common faces but still go for our first win. In fact, I will try my best to ensure that Hellen scores at least five points,” said Lugudde.
Standing in LK4’s way and their maiden win is Team Enabu that must also be seeking an instant return to winning ways following last Friday’s 48-39 loss to Team KBO8 led by Ben Komakech.
In the other games on the day, the defending champions Team Ikong will aim at nothing less than maintaining their winning streak when they encounter the Legends who, notched a 40-30 victory against Team Flirsh last Friday.
Team Flirsh will take on Team Blick, which had a much needed break last Friday following the first day 42-38 loss to Team Ikong. Team KB08 will encounter Team Kasewu in the night’s last game.
