KENYA : Kenya Airways Still Soaring in NBA League

LEADERS Kenya Airways continued their fine run in the Nairobi Basketball Association league when they costed to an easy 94-67 win over Baraka Xtreme at Railways Club.

With Emmanuel Ekai in great form, KQ were in control from the start as he nailed 23 points for the winners. Old Pirates pipped Upper Hill School 65-64 in a closely fought and entertaining tie with Hannington Sitati bagging 14 points for the winners. Upper Hill had clobbered Legacy 60-47 in their earlier fixture as Ochieng provided 26 points. Legacy had 11 from Jesse Umala.
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat) had mixed results. They hit Heroes 70-51 as Guyton Kijuba nailed a season high 35 points that included a record seven three pointers. Heroes had 12 points from Ansalim Onalo. Jkuat were then felled 57-74 by Don Bosco. KU Pirates whipped Little Prince coached by former great Jaffred Amugune 69-36. Douglas Momanyi shot 12 for KU. And in the ladies tie Africa Nazarene University ANU) nu continued to impress with a 44-21 over Jkuat.
