UCU Canons return to the national basketball league action today seeking to reverse a run of three consecutive defeats.

The side that reached the semi-finals of last year's playoffs, face the Heaters at YMCA courts.

The more experienced UCU cannot afford to falter again as they aim to rediscover their winning touch.
UCU are up against a side that is also yet to win a game this season.
The UCU side will unveil giant centre Desmond Owili, signed from Kenya Posta.
Owili, who was cleared by the domestic basketball body FUBA on Thursday, could bring fresh hope to the side struggling so far.

But UCU coach Nick Natuhereza prefers to take a cautious approach.
“Despite the fact that we are playing Heaters, it is a big game for us and we have to secure victory,” Natuhereza said after training.
