Basketball in Africa

Liberty Stadium complex, Ibadan, headquarters of the Southwest Zone-One of the National Sports Commission is agog for the 4th edition of Southwest Private Secondary Schools Basketball Championship expected to run from July 28 through August 1, 2010.

The Zonal Coordinator Steve Olarinoye affirms that, the aim of the zone in organizing the game is to enable it discover new talents; promote the game in our schools and to encourage friendliness among the students.
