NIGERIA : Islanders succumbs to Union Bank

Islanders’ basketball club at the weekend succumbs to the superior fire-power of Union Bank basketball club in an Atlantic conference pairing at the sports hall of the Lagos national stadium.
The match which saw the bankers winning in three of the four quarters leaving the Islanders to pick one (18-11, 10-17, 08-05 and 23-16) saw the Islanders players putting every hands and foot wrong upon resumption of play in the third quarter through the fourth after a beautiful display in the second quarter.

Bauchi Net basketball club will Tuesday continue its road trip game to the Atlantic conference of the premier league with a game against Union Bank basketball club at the sports hall of the Lagos national stadium.
The once vibrant Savannah conference team will take to the floor against Nigeria Customs Service basketball club on Wednesday and battle against Ebun Comets basketball club on Thursday.
The team will round off its road game to the Atlantic conference with games against Dodan Warriors and Islanders basketball clubs on Friday and Saturday respectively.
