LIBERIA : IE Suffers More Defeats, As Pythons Continues Winning Spree

The champions of the Liberia Basketball Federation national league, Invincible Eleven (I E) continues to suffer more defeats in the ongoing FIBA Men Basketball Competition currently taking place in the Ivorian capital, Abidjan.

According reports gathered, IE suffered her second successive defeat in the tournament on October 9 against Africa Sports of Ivory Coast; going down 42 to 59 points.

The "Yellow Boys" had earlier on October 8 fell prey to Aspac of Benin 72 - 81. IE left the country without Coach Wekee Doe who had managed the team prior to its
departure.
Our report says the absence of coach Doe is posing serious difficulties for the "Yellow Boys".
While Invincible Eleven struggles to pull her first win in the tournament, NPA Pythons continues her winning spree in the Ivorian capital. The "Port Boys" secured their second successive win on Monday October 9, dumping Zenith of Ivory Coast 73 - 71. Pythons won her first game against Braves Ceps of Ghana 66 - 64.
The tournament continues today with CBS of Togo engaging Invincible Eleven (IE) at 12 noon in game one; while Ebun Comets of Nigeria will battle things out with NPA Pythons at 1400 hours in game two.

The tournament is divided into two groups with Invincible Eleven (IE) placed in group A along side African Sports of Ivory Coast, CBS of Togo, Aspac of Ghana and Plateau Peak of Nigeria.

NPA Python is in group B with Zenith of Ivory Coast, Ebun Comet of Nigeria, Braves Ceps of Ghana and Backs of the Republic of Guinea.
