UGANDA : KKL League Ends in Style

Kampala

NILE Bank, TKL, Diamonds, Rwenzori and British Bulls teams emerged champions in various categories of the 2006 Kampala Kids League (KKL) football competition that ended at Aga Khan school grounds on Sunday.

Nile Bank emerged top of the two-month long event in the mid-morning category with 13 points, beating Safi to second place.

Rwenzori won the seniors category after they managed 15 points - six ahead of rivals Eagle Air.

In the super seniors category British Bulls stole the show courtesy of a single point difference with uganda telecom and Asiatic Sports, both of which gathered 10 points with utl second on the table with a two-margin goal difference.

The winners who are set to be awarded individual medals and trophies and overall trophies will be crowned soon.

Next is the basketball league that kicks off on October 7.
